Launch of the International Research Project “Ultra-durable and efficient nano-engineered fuel cells” (URANUS) – G6166

On 4th of December, 2023, the International Research Project “Ultra-durable and efficient nano-engineered fuel cells” (URANUS) – G6166, implemented under the NATO Science for Peace and Security Programme, was officially launched. The aim of the project, which involves scientists from Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University, is to develop nanostructured oxide materials for efficient fuel cells. The project will be led by Bohdan Rachii, Professor of the Department of Materials Science and New Technologies, and Elisabetta Comini, Professor at the University of Brescia (Università degli Studi di Brescia), Italy. Additionally, the project plans to purchase various pieces of scientific equipment and provide scholarships to young researchers from PNU. The duration of the project is set for 3 years.
