The team of the project “RadiatIon Safety: European-Ukrainian APproach” (101127143 — RISE-UP — ERASMUS-JMO-2023-HEI-TCH-RSCH), which is being implemented at the Department of Materials Science and New Technologies of Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University with the support of the European Commission under the Jean Monnet Programme – 2023, continues to work on the main objectives of the Project, the primary one being the formation of an objective and justified positive civic position on the use of nuclear energy and ionizing radiation sources. This involves the necessity to comply with certain safety measures and rules that will ensure their effective and safe use.
On 28 February, Volodymyr Kotsiubynskyi, Project Team Leader, Head of the Department of Materials Science and New Technologies, Doctor of Science, Professor, gave a lecture-discussion titled “Nuclear Energy in Ukraine – Problems and Prospects” at the Centre for Educational Innovation of the Ivano-Frankivsk City Council.
