SPASE_READY

SPACE_READY was created to enhance the opportunities for students and researchers to participate in space activities, in particular analog space missions, by delivering an efficient, tailor made e-learning course preparing candidate analog astronauts for their analog missions. This analog astronauts include target groups, for which the e-learning course is of high relevance, students and researchers, analog space mission managers, as well as stakeholders, from space sector organizations.

Objectives

We aim to improve access to space missions knowledge for students by creating a unified methodology and curriculum for space mission education. The final product of our project will be a validated through pilot tests self-paced e-learning course, allowing education and certification of university candidates for analog space astronauts.

Implementation

First, we will create a unified methodology and curriculum for space mission education. Second, we will digitalize the curriculum and launch it as an e-learning programme, then we will validate the e-learning programme and implement for use. Final activities will concerns sustainable implementation and disemination of the courses.

Results

In our project we plan to generate the following results:
Result 1: unified methodology and unified curriculum on analog space missions.
Result 2: e-learning course launched on a digital learning platform allowing a wider number of students and researchers to
increase their skills and knowledge about prepare for analog space missions.
Result 3: Implementation of the e-learning course by 10 organizations (5 partners, 5 external).
Result 4: Completed pilot test and train-the-trainer
