Access to research infrastructures of universities in EDUC countries

As part of the activities of the EDUC-WIDE project, in which Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University collaborates with Masaryk University (Czech Republic), the University of Cagliari (Italy), the Universitat Jaume I in Castellón (Spain), the University of Potsdam (Germany), the University of South-Eastern Norway (Norway), the University of Pécs (Hungary), Paris Nanterre University (France), and the University of Rennes (France), a competition was held to implement research projects.

Associate Professor of the Department of Materials Science and Modern Technologies, Pavlo Kolkovskyi, received the opportunity to conduct the experimental part of his project, “La₁₋ₓSrₓCoO₃ and La₁₋ₓSrₓFeO₃ nanoparticles as cathode materials for SOFC: XPS studies,” at Masaryk University (Brno, Czech Republic).

The project aims to study La₁₋ₓSrₓCoO₃ and La₁₋ₓSrₓFeO₃ nanoparticles as cathode materials for solid oxide fuel cells (SOFC) using X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). The goal is to analyze their electronic structure, surface chemical properties, and the influence of Sr (x) concentration on catalytic activity and stability.

The project is focused on “green” technologies and the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

We wish you success in achieving the project’s objectives!
