On 11 March 2024, the UNIVERSEH 2.0 project was officially launched. The event was attended remotely by teachers and students of Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University.
Professor Jerzy Lis, Rector of the AGH University of Science and Technology (Krakow, Poland), delivered a welcoming speech and emphasized the importance of cooperation between universities for future space research. Prof. Michael Toplis, President of University of Toulouse, commenced the event with his opening remarks about the past and future of the project.
The plenary presentations by prof. Thais Russomano, CEO of Inova Space (London, UK), Dr. Joost Vanreusel, Head of the ESA Academy (Noordwijk, the Netherlands), prof. Loredana Santo, Head of the Department of Industrial Engineering, University of Rome Tor Vergata (Rome, Italy),
and Dr. Joanna Pyrkosz-Pacyna, Diversity and Inclusion Specialist at Space Technology Centre AGH UST (Krakow, Poland), were extremely interesting. The conference participants had a unique opportunity to listen to a keynote discussion with Professor Thais Russomano, Professor Loredana Santo, and Dr. Joanna Pyrkosz-Pacyna.
