The implementers of the project “Radiation Safety: European-Ukrainian Approach” (101127143 — RISE-UP — ERASMUS-JMO-2023-HEI-TCH-RSCH), supported by the European Commission under the Jean Monnet Programme, within the framework of the project tasks, conducted a series of lectures for students of the Separated Structural Unit ‘Sniatyn Professional College’ of Higher Education Institution ‘Podillia State University’.

The educational component of the project aims to develop students’ information management skills (the ability to find and analyse information from various sources), the capacity to work in an interdisciplinary team, research skills and competences, and, most importantly, the ability to work independently. The lectures focused on promoting EU policies in the fields of physics and engineering, medical and biological sciences, and law, particularly concerning the feasibility of using “green” nuclear energy in Ukraine’s current complex geopolitical conditions. Special attention was given to advancing the concept of lifelong learning by providing free access to online courses on radiation safety through social media and the project’s website.
